TE Connectivity Business Intelligence Analyst in Middletown, Pennsylvania

Job Duties: As Subject Matter Expert for TE Datawarehouse, perform Data warehousing activities such as Data Extraction, Data loading from various sources, & Data transformation, Data mining. Process Data and publish various Business Intelligence visualizations reports to assist Business Decision. Understand the business problem, profile data and help make data driven decisions. Perform Data Management Services across databases and platforms to global users. Develop Data Models using design patterns and reference architecture to meet requirements. Develop technical specification by following organization standards to scale and perform globally. Perform ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) and create purpose-built data assets on Cloud and On-Premises. Develop Metadata definitions from business rules and establish the data management framework that improves the data quality and standards for both database structures and repository. Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement Preventive measures for all the data quality issues. Provide technical and functional architectural assistance and data analysis to global users and business. Conduct meetings with business and users to gather requirements. Perform analysis, prepare architectural solutions, and estimate to deliver the requirement. Determine and implement the best approach that adheres to the standards and architectural vision. Analyze and ensure efficient transition of all technical design documents and develop applications. Design and implement various structures for all physical objects and recommend changes on applications through efficient structures. Design, Analyze, Prepare and Maintain various reports using BI Visualization tools for BI Analytics and Predictive Analytics. Develop and provide support to all system interfaces and coordinate to provide specifications for all core modules. Work with Cross platforms, Functional Teams, and Source to ensure project align with charter. Conduct periodic calls with Business Users and Cross Team and external vendors. Provide functional assistance and Prepare architect solutions and delivery schedule to cross platform team SAP Hana, BW, BODS, Oracle, Big Data, AWS, and support to create detailed functional specification. Work with Information Technology Service Management/Service Desk ticketing systems (Service Now), Database administrators and Batch Processing team ControlM, Server Admins. Conduct Monthly Maintenance activity in coordinate with cross teams.    Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, in Information Technology, or in a related occupation.      

Special Requirements

Requires 4 years of experience with the following:

  1. Hands on experience with AWS Redshift, Athena, DB Viewer, Toad and BI Visualization Tools (SAP Webi, Tableau).
  2. AWS Aurora, AWS EMR, Scala, PL/SQL, Unix, Denodo Datamarts, SAP Hana, Service Now, TWS, Control M, SharePoint, Tortoise SVN, GitHub, SAP BODS, SAP BW, Jenkins.

Requires 3 years of experience with the following:

  1. Working with data visualization tools; Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI and BOBJ.
  2. Knowledge of data warehousing and Analytics in Manufacturing domain.
  3. Working on data migration strategy from On-Prem to Cloud.
  4. Working with MS Project, Excel, Word, One Note, Teams, Power Designer, Jira, SharePoint).
