ManpowerGroup Shipping Office Clerk in Middletown, New York

Our client, a leader in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Shipping Office Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Office Clerk, you will be part of the shipping department supporting the operational efficiency of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Office Clerk

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $21 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm

What's the Job?

  • Prepare and review shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  • Facilitate communication between the shipping office and other warehouse departments.

  • Coordinate with the shipping team to process customer orders and generate shipping schedules.

  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to shipping.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the shipping office.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in office management, preferably in a shipping or logistics environment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
