Job Summary The Security Operations Analyst is responsible for providing and controlling security access to Active Directory (AD), Azure Entra ID, third-party applications and infrastructure managed by Information Technology. This role will use both manually performed actions and develop PowerShell scripted automation that leverages and promotes security best practices to protect Spectrum Brands critical data, and infrastructure across multiple platforms. Primary Duties & Responsibilities PowerShell Script Development and Script Maintenance (50%) Utilize advanced PowerShell scripting to automate provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts; and access activities across a hybrid environment of on-prem AD, Entra ID, and adjacent systems or functions including integration with APIs. Author and maintain PowerShell scripts for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory components, streamlining operational tasks and ensuring consistency across environments. Employ scripts to support reporting, audit, or other needs as identified. Apply version control systems such as Git to manage codebase in adherence to change management requirements. Create functional and technical documentation related to script development, changes, and maintenance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze and remediate issues, ensuring continuous improvement and reliability.
