UW MEDICAL FOUNDATION EDI Specialist - 34347 in MIDDLETON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDI Specialist - 34347 Work Schedule : This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position . Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday. Some shifts will have a start time as early as 6:30 AM and the latest at 7:30 AM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking an EDI Specialist to: * Analyze and understand implementation guidelines/specifications for both batch and real-time for all HIPAA X12. * Prepare, implement, and monitor project plan to determine readiness for conducting the 270/271, 276/277 and 278. * Assist with connectivity FTP, SSL FTP and HyperTerminal setup to ensure safe delivery and receipt of files. * Troubleshoot issues related to EDI/HIPAA transactions and coordinate resolution with IS, EPIC and the payer. * Serve as back-up and support to supervisor with respect to the 837 electronic claims submission and 835 electronic remittance transactions.
