Description

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Registration professional to join our team in Middleburg, Florida, within the Healthcare industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations within our outpatient department by handling various patient-related tasks, from managing patient records to assisting patients with technology use.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in operating technology on tablets, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

• Accurately transfer patient record information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to ensure all patient details are up-to-date and easily accessible.

• Notify relevant departments promptly when patients have arrived for appointments, facilitating effective inter-departmental communication and coordination.

• Collect any residual dues from patients, ensuring all financial responsibilities are met in a timely manner.

• Maintain a strong presence at the entrance of the outpatient department, providing assistance and guidance to patients as needed.

• Use your skills in Healthcare Administration, Medical Office operations, and EMR to ensure a high level of service is maintained.

• Ensure all tasks are carried out with a high level of attention to detail, reflecting the importance of accuracy in this role.

• Utilize your experience in patient-facing roles to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience.

• Display a high energy personality and willingness to serve others, contributing to a positive work environment and patient experience.

• Use your knowledge of the Epic EMR system to manage patient records effectively and efficiently.

Requirements • Must have experience in a medical office setting

• Knowledge and experience with dental procedures is preferred

• Proficiency in Health Information Management (HIM) is required

• Must have experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Epic EMR

• A background in Healthcare Administration is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations

• Must be capable of working both independently and as part of a team

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is preferred

• Prior customer service experience in a healthcare setting is a plus

• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
