Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The On-Call Cast Technician's daily job duties include, but is not limited to, applying and adjusting and removing casts, assisting the Orthopedic Surgeon, and instructing patients in proper care of cast and splints, including walking with casts and boots.

Desired Qualifications

High school Diploma

Orthopedic Cast Technician Certification

Summary of Health Risks
