Description

Robert Half is hiring a Sr. Accountant to assist a real estate client in Miami FL. This role is 100% on-site in the Brickell area.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline multiple processes for improved efficiency

• Facilitate process improvement and documentation

• Automate current manual operations such as calendar creation and month-end close lists

• Modify system settings to enhance automation

• Contribute to a positive and initiative-taking work culture

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Engage in direct reporting to the Controller

• Maintain a hands-on role at our on-site location

• Contribute to a positive workplace culture and show initiative.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Mastery of Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Skilled in Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated knowledge of General Ledger management

• Ability to create and manage Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close

• Experience with Yardi software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
