    About Travel Retail

    Travel Retail Americas oversees all Travel Retail operations across the Americas (over 900 points of sale) including airports, cruise ships, airlines, downtown duty-free stores, and border stores.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE

    Monitor the management of several areas of cost activity (marketing, merchandising, media, etc.) with a degree of autonomy

  • .Draft the Plan, Budget, and Trends for their area of activity.

  • Produce or supervise the monthly reports for their area of activity.

  • Optimize the costs and efficacy of actions undertaken in accordance with the Standards and good practices set down by Internal Control by maintaining constant links with their contacts (e.g. customer benefits, value analysis, cost analysis, POS advertising, CSV etc.).

  • Monitor costs and carry out all analyses required to identify risks and opportunities and to propose the appropriate actions.

  • Participate in team development

  • Consistent rhythm of communication with business partners/stakeholders

    WHO YOU ARE

    Required Qualifications:

  • Up to 3 years experience

  • Ensures financial reporting is aligned with the Group's standards.

  • Leadership on the annual budgeting and trend processes, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic financial plans.

  • Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Develop financial models to support business decisions, including scenario analysis, profitability assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.

  • Optimize costs and evaluate performance of the business by activity (marketing, merchandising, media, etc.)

  • Monitor and Analyze expenses to ensure they are aligned with Budgetary constraints and strategic goals.

  • Bring financial expertise to understand, improve, challenge & provide strategic recommendations contributing to overall effectiveness of business. Influence across all levels of the organization.

  • Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs and provide support in achieving their objectives.

  • Ability to leverage knowledge and intuition around systems/data management to provide insight into critical issues.

  • Capacity to develop budgets and financial trends in collaboration with the business. Understands how these elements relate to achievement of overall business & financial targets.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • MS Office required; SAP preferred
