Great opportunity for someone who is seeking a long term career opportunity with a stable company. Client is seeking a Sr. Accountant who likes to come in to work, quietly and efficiently without the pressure and stress that usually can be caused by month-end closer. Most of the duties needed for this position are :

• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances

• Preparing financial statements

• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas

• Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses

• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules

• Assisting with initial internal control evaluations

• Supervising accounting staff will eventually be a function for this role in the near future
