Our client in the Kendall area is looking for a highly motivated Purchasing Specialist to strengthen their procurement team. This role is critical in ensuring that supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting their commitment to safety, quality, and performance. The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement of aircraft parts, materials, and services, negotiating contracts with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining inventory levels to support maintenance, repair, and operations. Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for aircraft parts, materials, and services.

• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors.

• Manage purchase orders from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure parts availability.

• Monitor supplier performance and build strong, long-term vendor relationships.

• Ensure compliance with aviation industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and finance teams to forecast material needs and budget planning.

• Resolve issues related to shipment delays, pricing discrepancies, and quality concerns.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to identify new supply chain opportunities.
