Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Purchasing Agent based in Miami, Florida. The role primarily involves procurement coordination, vendor negotiation, and budget adherence within our team. You will also be tasked with order processing and tracking, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage purchasing activities including order processing and tracking.

• Negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure cost-effective procurement.

• Adhere to project budgets to manage expenses effectively.

• Use ERP Solutions and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate records and enhance buying processes.

• Implement and utilize IBM AS/400 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for efficient resource planning.

• Utilize 'About Time' software for accurate time tracking and management.

• Select appropriate components for procurement based on project requirements.

• Provide excellent customer service by resolving inquiries and issues promptly.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and take necessary actions for timely completion. Requirements • Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Knowledge and experience in IBM AS/400 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with About Time software

• Proven experience as a Buyer and understanding of Buying Processes

• Ability to make informed decisions on Component Selection

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
