Job Description

Pay Rate:

$92,000-$120,000

Day to Day:

* Supervise patient care coordinators and other assigned staff within the medical-surgical unit.

* Direct clerical functions related to patient care coordination.

* Develop and implement standards of performance, expectations, and assignments.

* Schedule staff according to unit needs and communicate effectively with the manager -- staff evaluations, patient flow, etc.

* Evaluate and actively solve problems.

* Identify learning needs of staff and act as a resource person.

* Coordinate staff and nursing assignments for weekly shifts.

* Participation in hourly rounding

* Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

* 20K sign-on bonus -- paid out in 4 payments over the first 2 years

Skills and Requirements

* RN license

* ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

* BLS (Basic Life Support

* ALS (Advanced Life Support)

* 5 years of experience in acute care setting

* Experience as a supervisor/lead * BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

* Experience with Cerner null
