Shift Hours -8am to 5pm (M-F)

Pay -33/HR

Summary

The Packaging Engineering Center of Excellence is dedicated to driving innovation in packaging solutions that meet the needs of our global customer base. We are seeking a motivated Packaging Engineer to join our client’s team and contribute to the future of packaging technologies in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

This on-site role is part of the Package Engineering Center of Excellence located at their Miami, FL (Kendall site). You will have access to two fully outfitted Test Labs to perform essential testing and analysis. As a Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for innovative packaging design, executing tests per industry standards (ASTM, ISTA), analyzing test results, and supporting sustainability initiatives. You’ll also work with internal and external customers globally to deliver packaging solutions that meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide packaging support for internal and external customers, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.

  • Collaborate in the analysis and resolution of packaging issues using Problem Solving methodology.

  • Write detailed technical test protocols, reports, engineering drawings, and other documentation in compliance with company standards.

  • Support the release of new product packaging and the enhancement of existing packaging solutions.

  • Define packaging materials with a focus on waste reduction and sustainability.

  • Ensure that packaging-related documents meet company, industry, and regulatory standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Materials Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience in a related field, preferably within an FDA-regulated environment.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with technical writing, including ISO and GMP documentation standards.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $33.00 per hour
