Hiring for the following specialties:
Medical Surgical Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit, Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Neurology, Cardiothoracic Step Down, Orthopedics/ Neurosurgery Stepdown, Respiratory Stepdown, Head and Neck, IMCU.
Candidates Meeting the Below Criteria are Eligible to Apply:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred; RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree have 2 years to complete the BSN degree and 3 months to enroll in a BSN program after hire date.
Students are eligible to apply with pending Florida Registered Nurse License or ATT Letter.
Registered Nurses (RN) with less than 12 months of full-time RN experience (less than 2,080 hours) by hire date.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Fulfill a 15-month agreement on the unit for which they are hired, and a 36-month agreement with the organization.
Must test and pass NCLEX by Friday, February 21, 2025.

Program Description
Developed by academic and clinical nursing experts, the Titan Canes Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive 14–18-week orientation that transitions the novice nurse to the role of an advanced beginner in a collaborative learning environment over the course of twelve months.
Program Highlights
The Titan Canes Residency is a twelve-month program that consists of:
Orientation to the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics (UMHC) system, nursing department, standards of care, and clinical skills.
Didactic lectures covering UMHC’s Policies and Core Competencies, based on the Specialty Nursing Curriculum.
14 to 18 weeks of unit-based training with a qualified preceptor and Clinical Educator.
Monthly education sessions that address leadership, patient outcomes, and professionalism.
Graduation ceremony to acknowledge the nurses' accomplishments as they transition to their professional role.
