We are currently seeking a Medical and Scientific Writer who will be responsible for supporting our global Medical and Scientific Affairs team. This role will work across multiple business units and therapeutic areas to deliver high quality scientific material that meets the needs and objectives of our teams. This role will work alongside the Medical and Scientific Affairs associates as well project managers to ensure complex concepts are translated into engaging and educational content.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing complex scientific information and translating it into engaging and educational messaging as per the needs of the function.

  • Liaising with the medical and scientific community as well as internal associates to ensure the output meets their objectives and is medically/scientifically accurate.

  • Working alongside other medical writers to share expertise, editing and advising on content.

  • Staying up to date on relevant clinical trials by reading and reviewing publications, attending courses and through membership in industry/professional associations.

  • Becoming proficient in grant writing activities and assist team members in grant submissions as well as award management.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • PhD or MS degree

  • 5+ years of experience in scientific and medical writing

  • Strong knowledge in publication and grant application writing

  • Strong understanding and interpretation of clinical and scientific data

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Regulatory submissions

  • Market access research understanding

The salary range for this role is $75-112K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
