Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This entry-level position will support the accounting department in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow within the field of accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.

• Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements as needed.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing supporting documentation.

• Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering necessary data.

• Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned by senior accountants or management.

• Stay updated on accounting best practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress).

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) is a plus.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
