We’re looking for an amazing IT Product Manager to fill this role. This is a hybrid, in-office role. You’ll work in person at our Miami or Seattle Office Tuesday to Thursday each week. You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the business applications project intake, execution, delivery, and transition to operational support. This would include working with the business stakeholders to determine application project viability and business benefit, including scope definition, and development estimation, for applications projects for Holland America, Seabourn, and other Brands are required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a product and user expert for various business applications. Own feature prioritization, interact with project stakeholders and technical teams to define and deliver features

  • Develops timelines, creates roadmaps, and devises strategy for code releases, deployments to production, testing, and training. Partner with Project Manager to build and maintain integrated project schedules which outline a project's tasks, milestone dates, status, allocation of resources to stakeholders and accounts for internal/external dependencies

  • Consult and collaborate with stakeholders, other product owners, and Vendors to gather requirements, resolve dependencies, coordinate, and deliver cross-functional initiatives, and clarify requirements with developers

  • Creates regular status reports and project communications to Managers, Directors, and Executive Leadership. Effectively communicate and manage changes and expectations to project scope and schedule; Remain flexible to changing priorities

  • Coordinates project activities including advising on systems under their purview, providing representation for our stakeholders/sponsors in meetings.

  • Maintains and writes documentation for various applications used for development, support, and training

  • Ensure products comply with relevant regulations, standards, and security requirements.

  • Required to be on call and available afterhours on weeknights and weekends to participate on priority calls when an incident occurs, requiring support until incident is confirmed resolved and a recap has been provided to leadership documenting root cause and remediation.

  • Utilizes scrum methodology to refine backlog by working with business product owners and team members; facilitate release planning; assist with dependency management and cross team coordinator

  • Coordinates testing with QA team and the application users

  • Collaborate with the design team to create the most intuitive and engaging user experiences. Participates in design reviews and provides suggestions to improve usability, adoption, and customer value for guest experience applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, project management or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner or Analyst working on software development projects as well as experience delivering business systems solutions in an enterprise IT environment.

  • Experience with designing and launching customer-facing products or services in an Agile environment

  • Experience in leveraging JIRA, Confluence, or other tools to provide metrics and reports for sprint management and reporting Understanding of project management principles related to resource allocation and timelines

  • Demonstrated ability to understand technology concepts and implications, manage trade-offs and evaluate new opportunities

  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations

  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment

  • Knowledge of industry best practices for systems implementation, testing, and risk management

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

  • Plan and manage multiple parallel projects

  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Prior experience in a supervisory capacity a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and verbal/written skills and ability to interact well with all levels within the organization.

  • Base Salary Range: $105,600 to $142,500. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
