Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Customer Strategy, Technology, and Marketing Operations, the Director, Insights, Analysis, and Reporting manages development of overall marketing insights functionality including measurement and reporting across the marketing function. The incumbent manages development and implementation of a robust and holistic segmentation strategy to support achievement of Interval’s business growth goals. In addition, the Director manages development and execution of an overall approach to marketing performance reporting, including processes, tools, metrics, etc., to increase marketing functional effectiveness and performance.
Expected Contributions
Manages Interval’s marketing data reporting assessments and roadmap development, including performance reporting, digital platform reporting, behavioral reporting and execution of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives and cognitive/predictive analytics initiatives.
Develops analytical plans including proper selection of methodologies, techniques, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Supports Data Strategy and Customer Experience team with reporting, analysis, and insights to influence customer segmentation strategy.
Manages teams on development and rollout of predictive analytics to be leveraged in marketing campaigns, including email, direct mail, telemarketing, and digital channels.
Consults with cross-functional partners on data analytics needs and strategies. Generates insights/conclusions and translates them into recommendations and strategies. Presents findings to partners and management.
Develops strategies to measure consumer response across channels and quantify the overall impact of multi-channel initiatives.
Develops score cards and program recaps to assess and communicates success and lessons learned for marketing initiatives.
Responsible for overall management of analytic projects, including timeliness, quality, and end-user value.
Responsible for vision and execution of report visualization for all customer KPIs and measurement. Includes dashboard development and report automation.
Provides decision support that includes customer response modeling and campaign test analysis.
Sets and manages priorities; works with internal /external resources to align priorities with skillsets to accomplish objectives.
Plans for resources required to achievement of functional goals in collaboration with cross-functional leaders to manage resources in an efficient manner.
Orchestrates marketing teams to adapt to changing circumstances to collaborate effectively and efficiently push work across the finish line.
Performs other reasonable job duties as requested.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Experience
At least 10 years of progressive experience managing company-wide marketing insights, analytics, and reporting function.
At least 3 years managing team.
Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Hospitality preferred.
Experience in a matrixed structured organization preferred.

Experience with Qualtrics, Business Objects or similar, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Campaign preferred.
Computer literacy on Microsoft Office products, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
