Job Title: Cost Controller
Job Description
To oversee cost management for retail operations. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various departments to analyze costs, assess vendor relationships, and maximize profitability. To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a deep commitment to the bottom line without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with all departments to ensure cost optimization.
Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections.
Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers.
Understand the entire arc of the business and how productivity impacts profitability.
Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality.
Present new strategies and assessments in a compelling fashion.
Roll out clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field of study
Bilingual English/Spanish
5 years of experience in accounting/finance and data analysis
2+ years of experience in cost control/analysis
Experience in the construction/manufacturing industry
Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
General knowledge of GAAP reporting requirements for Revenues and Costs of Services and Goods
Advanced analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought-out conclusions
Demonstrated strong project management skills
Work Environment
Onsite Monday through Friday. Opportunity to grow with the company.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00
