JBS USA Campaign & Merchandising Manager in Miami, Florida

As the Campaign & Merchandising Manager, you are accountable for the commercial planning management, planograms & analytics for the Product Development Team. As an integral member of our 30/60/90 commercial planning, you will work closely with all members of the Product Development team & the Marketing team in your role, and manage the process of gathering all necessary information required to compile the campaign plans for the business. Reporting to the Head, Non-Core Product Development, the Commercial Planning Manager is a key member of the Product team and is responsible for supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced and demanding production & innovation environment. The scope of Commercial Planning covers the Wild Fork business units in both the US & Canadian markets. Additionally, you will maintain positive relationships with Production Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain & Finance as well as hold weekly meetings to keep the business updated on campaign planning activities. You have a customer-centric approach and are comfortable in a constantly changing start-up environment. Since this role is highly collaborative, it is an in-office role in our Doral head office.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The role is based in office at our Doral.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Weekly monitoring and reporting on merchandising KPI's (sales, volume, margin, average ticket, conversion, etc.) across multiple sales channels and customer segments while being able to explain the drivers behind fluctuations in these metrics.

  • Weekly monitoring and reporting of campaign performance across multiple sales channels and customer segments while being able to explain the drivers behind fluctuations in these metrics.

  • Own merchandising analysis to assist in short & long-term budgeting/forecasting activities.

  • Own the merchandising data analysis (analysis of sales, shopper data, etc.) to identify market shifts, trends & opportunities.

  • Curate data from multiple sources to assist in the development of a customer centric assortment. You will play a key role in providing insights and recommendations that will shape the new product pipeline.

  • Own the Wild Fork planogramming & merchandising process to guarantee accurate and up to date in store product placement.

  • Manage, create and maintain planograms for our store network including updates for new product introductions, campaign activity and new store openings

  • Manage the Campaign Planning process, ensuring clear ommunication to the business that key merchandising-related updates are shared across the business (Planogram Changes, New product launches, seasonal product placement, campaign launches, etc.)

  • Manage weekly collaborative sessions between Product Development Team & Marketing team to drive the 30/60/90 planning process forward, including managing follow ups with teams to ensure deliverables are providing on time and in full

  • Manage weekly meetings with the key departments in the business to update on Campaign activity and Product Development & Marketing go-to-market plans

  • Keep a close eye on the competitive landscape weekly via store visits, subscribing to competitor communications, revieing Flipp and reporting back to the business the insights that are relevant to our strategies.

  • Provide weekly competitive pricing insights to Pricing team from flyer & other market activity

  • Optimize merchandising campaigns to improve the monthly merchandise planning process, customer experience, in-stock levels and financial performance.

  • Provide data extraction and analysis support for ad-hoc requests

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of analytical experience in a retail merchandising role

  • Advanced level in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.), Word & PowerPoint

  • Exposure to with syndicated/competitive data (e.g. Nielsen, IRI) preferred

  • Exposure to Google Analytics preferred

  • Must have a strong business acumen

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Effective and concise communication and presentation skills

  • Love to Cook & Love to Eat with a passion for sharing expertise throughout organization

  • Must be able to work effectively and meet deadlines while working with minimal supervision.
