Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Technician to work alongside a Tooling Engineer for an aviation engine manufacturing plant in Miami, FL. The Tooling Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of specialized tooling and equipment used in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components. This role ensures that all tooling is operational, accurate, and compliant with aviation standards.

Day to Day:

• Organize existing and incoming inventory of tools through Quantum ERP and Excel sheets.

• Assist in training technicians on new tools with the Tooling Engineer.

• Communicate with vendors for purchasing and

inventory management of tools.

• Help with repairing broken tools or push through work orders with vendors.

• Collaborate with engineering and technician teams.

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years working in an aviation manufacturing environment.

• Tool inventory management experience.

• Tech savvy, with experience utilizing Excel. - Biligual in Spanish

• Quantum ERP experience.

• A&P license

• High calibration background null
