We are offering an exciting contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in Miami, Florida. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in transitioning to a new accounts payable system, managing high volume transactions, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the transition to a new accounts payable system to ensure a smooth process

• Perform full-cycle accounts payable functions, including coding, processing, and 3-way matching

• Manage high volume transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain and reconcile vendor statements, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date

• Handle vendor management duties, including maintaining vendor files and managing vendor relationships

• Conduct regular auditing of general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy

• Leverage Microsoft Excel and pivot table skills to streamline accounts payable functions.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or related field.

• Expertise in Account Coding is necessary.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with diverse Accounting Functions is a must.

• Must possess in-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP).

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting is necessary.

• Experience in Auditing is required.

• Ability to efficiently and accurately code invoices.

• Must be able to enter vendor invoices into the system effectively.

• Experience in maintaining vendor files is essential.

• Must be capable of managing vendor relationships.

• Ability to reconcile vendor statements accurately and promptly.

• Knowledge of Vendor Statements is a must.

• Experience in Vendor Management is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Must be able to create and manipulate Pivot Tables in Excel.
