Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Miami, Florida

Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in a growing food logistics company located in Blue Lagoon, based in Miami, Florida with HQ in LATAM. This role will primarily involve account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, billing, data entry, creating and reconciling purchase orders, pulling and managing financial reports and other related tasks. The successful candidate will be able to come in office with one WFH day a week.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts for necessary action.

Track and manage end of month sales and varying sourced prices.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing

• Perform billing duties, including invoice processing and revenue management

• Conduct data entry tasks using various software such as SAP, Excel, Oracle, and QuickBooks

• Provide sales support as needed to aid in revenue generation

• Prepare and review financial statements to track company's financial performance

• Utilize Excel for advanced tasks such as creating pivot tables and using V-look up function

• Manage logistics applications to support company's operations

Requirements

• Possessing minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounting Clerk, logistics, Sales Support, or data entry role or similar position

• Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing tasks

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks and Invoice Processing

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience in using QuickBooks and SAP for financial operations

• Ability to understand and apply current accounting guidelines, system updates and revisions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with different departments, bilingual (with Spanish) a plus

• High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and entering financial data

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Bachelor's degree a MUST
