As a Senior Data Product Manager in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.

The Senior Data Product Manager is a crucial part of the Winning with Data (WWD) Data & Analytics team. This person will develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap that will help build data solutions for commercial and marketing with cross functional teams (data science, engineering, product owners, and other key stakeholders). This person will champion adoption of and educate stakeholders on how to leverage data that is made available in the data ontology. They will lead the roadmap development and execution of their key data products through ontology migrations and key program needs. They will react to short term needs but build for long term success.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Owning a set of data products that serve as the foundation for strategic programs and key initiatives across the International Commercial organization.

  • Ability to liaise with key stakeholders and cross functional leads to develop a data product roadmap, execute on those business needs, and continually evolve/align the plan.

  • Building a deep understanding of upstream/downstream systems and processes; understand how they should shape the data model design and impact adjacent systems.

  • Working closely with Product Owners, Affiliates, Customer Excellence, and engineering teams to understand their data needs, challenges as it pertains your data product ownerships areas.

  • Taking the lead on driving initiatives forward, managing up where necessary to meet key deadlines.

Qualifications

What makes you a strong candidate for this role:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience; Master's Degree with 7 years experience; PhD with 3 years experience.

  • Understanding of data management principles and methodologies

  • Expertise in data governance, analytics, and product management practices

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to inspire and motivate

  • Results oriented mindset, capable of driving initiatives from conception to execution

Salary: $117,500 - $223,500
