Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team in providing essential non-skilled care to clients in the Metro Detroit area and surrounding communities. As a Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities, offering comfort, companionship, and support to help them maintain their independence in the comfort of their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and positioning.
• Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their prescribed medications on time.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to promote their well-being.
• Household Tasks: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
• Safety Monitoring: Ensure the client's safety by recognizing and responding to emergencies appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, caregiver, or in a related role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to follow care plans, and a compassionate attitude.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation is required. 
• Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.
