Description

A TEKsystems client is looking for a Contracts Reporting and Compliance Specialist with 3-5 years of experience in accounting, contracts, compliance, and reporting (preferably in a federal environment). This person will oversee critical reporting requirements, track budgets, and ensure compliance across diverse contracts and task orders.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting and Coordination:

• Develop and maintain templates for contract status reports and consolidate technical submissions into comprehensive reports for customers.

• Manage monthly status report requirements across multiple contracts and task orders.

• Ensure technical accomplishments, problem areas, planned work, funds tracking, and labor hour tracking are accurately reflected in reports.

• Funds Tracking and Financial Management:

• Actively manage contract budgets, expenditures, and burn rates using advanced Excel skills.

• Submit and track funding notifications and ensure timely communication with Contracting Officers regarding funding thresholds.

• Compliance and Audit Readiness:

• Maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with federal standards and audit readiness.

• Conduct variance and burn rate analysis to mitigate risks and support budget adjustments.

• Log and reconcile all contract actions with precision and accuracy.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, contracts, compliance, and reporting (federal experience is a plus).

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00
