The Dexcom Logistics and Distribution team is dedicated to operating a safe, scalable, and world-class logistics network solely focused on our customers\' success. Our daily operations extend beyond the physical movement of boxes. We strive to create a smooth and efficient flow of goods that directly contributes to the success of our business and the satisfaction of customers worldwide. Within this department, we encourage every team member to think creatively and contribute to our continuous improvement efforts to enhance our operations and your contribution is essential. We are looking for team members that comprehend concepts rapidly, perform safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and are driven by challenges.

Where you come in:

  • You will effectively perform warehouse tasks, such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control, in accordance with safety, quality, and applicable standard operating procedures
  • You will effectively operate a powered industrial vehicle (i.e. Forklift, Reach Truck) to unload/load materials and transport them between locations
  • You will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What makes you successful:

  • You have an acceptable driving record
  • You have a minimum of 6 months of experience in a logistics/warehouse operations or supply chain related role
  • You have 6 months of experience interfacing with warehouse management systems using a handheld scanner and/or computer
  • You have a minimum of 6 months of experience operating powered industrial vehicles (i.e. Forklift, Reach Truck)
  • You have experience with MS Office applications (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • You are able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for the majority of a 12-hour shift

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High school diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Language Skills:

Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Examples of English language proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate with leadership, employees, and auditors; ability to comprehend spoken language.

Physical Demands:

Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities: standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time; frequent use of the hands, fingers, wrist, and greater arm to handle small materials, tools, boxes, and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50Ibs; occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces; occasional crouching/kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements.
