Rural Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and heavy commercial electrical work, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments

• Both underground distribution and above ground distribution.

• Familiar with OCAL and GRC

  • Understanding of controls and automation

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician, with a focus on industrial and heavy commercial projects

• Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment

• Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification

• 5+ years of experience

• Knowledge of PLCs, MCC’s, MCP’s, etc.

• Familiar with OCAL and GRC
