Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Mesa, AZ (On Site)

Compensation: $55K-$60K

Robert Half is partnering with an established finance company in the Mesa area seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for their growing business! This role offers hands-on experience in full cycle accounts payable, with the ability to support the accounting team with various accounting and month end close processes. Job Responsibilities:

• Process daily invoices accurately and efficiently

• Verify, code and enter invoices

• Maintain updated records, including contracts and loan/investment records

• Prepare and perform weekly check runs

• Reach out to vendors for invoice requests and statement reconciliation

• Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies and addressing inquiries promptly.

• Communicate with vendors and respond promptly to inquiries regarding account/invoice status and payment issues

• Review, reconcile and process Employee Expense Reimbursements according to company policies

• Support Senior Accountant with Month End Close process related to payables activity and reporting, reconciliation, etc.

  Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable is required

• Experience with QuickBooks preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail & high level of accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
