Responsibilities

Position Summary:

It takes a very skilled nurse to work for multiple units in a hospital. If you’re wanting to advance your career, or already in supervision or management and enjoy flexibility with a diverse skill set in critical care or telemetry, then this is the ideal career for you!

Manages the resources and daily activities of a nursing department while ensuring environmental factors support high standards of patient care. Assists in the training and development of new and existing staff members. Creates and maintains an environment that is conducive to learning transfer. Coordinates the activities of the unit for each shift and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff. Provides patient care as needed.

We are a certified primary stroke center, have advanced certification for total hip and knee replacements, and have an ACoS accredited oncology program. Additionally, we are working to increase our trauma level and become a STEMI receiving center.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience. Magnet Hospital: BSN required.

  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice,

  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association; other credentials or credential modules may be required.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Pay Range

$59.58 - $81.70/hour
