Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Merced, CA

Work Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Merced, CA. This full-time position involves working with students in 6th to 8th grade, with a diverse caseload that includes both special education (SPED) and general education students. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans, providing training to Instructional Assistants (IA), and ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 18-20 students, with potential to grow up to 45 students.

  • Work with a mix of SPED and general education students.

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for approximately 50% of the caseload.

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and design behavior intervention plans.

  • Provide training and support to Instructional Assistants (IA) on behavioral strategies and interventions.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student success.

  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in a middle school setting.

  • Strong understanding of special education and general education environments.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to changing needs.

Compensation:

Pay is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
