Mentor Hospital's Emergency Department is a 19-bed department that provides 24/7 emergency care to diverse populations of patients. With an innovative virtual platform, the Emergency Department has a telehealth 'robot' (a mobile telehealth station) to host consults for patients.

A caregiver in this position works

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide direct nursing care.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.

• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.

• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

• External applicants: two years of recent nursing experience. Will consider military RN experience.

• Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
