Position Summary Performs finishing operations on shells and components per specifications. The Grinder will operate grinding equipment to finish grind welds and to remove sharp burrs and edges of metal parts to customer expectations. Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM with overtime as needed Duties Grinds welds and bevels. Blend welds on inside surfaces as required. Blend welds or machine surfaces on outside surfaces as required. Make set up wheels as needed. Inspects own work to ensure quality workmanship. Complies with all quality standards and safety rules and regulations. Additional duties, as required to meet business needs. Education Degree High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 1-year relevant experience. Must be able to perform various levels of finishing. Must have demonstrated knowledge of proper belt or wheel required to ensure quality and efficiency. Must be able to perform various levels of grinding and finishing.
