Our client, a leader in the manufacturing of metal food containers, is seeking a Line Mechanic to join their team. As a Line Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, excellent math skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery to efficiently manufacture quality products in an industrial setting.

Job Title: Line Mechanic

Location: Menomonie, WI

Pay Range: $28.96 plus $1.50 shift premium and 5% weekend premium.

What's the Job?

• Set up, adjust, operate, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to efficiently manufacture quality products in an industrial setting

• Interpret and analyze data to very tight tolerances and specifications

• Read machine tool blueprints to diagnose equipment failures and modify or engineer new working tooling and/or parts to continuously improve the efficiency of the manufacturing equipment

• Work 2-2-3 rotating schedule, night schedule 5pm-5am, and every other weekend

• Use precision measuring instruments i.e. micrometers, calipers, dial indicators

What's Needed?

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

• Associate or Technical Degree in Industrial Mechanics, Machine Tool, or other relevant courses preferred

• Strong mechanical background and excellent math skills

• Familiarity with Statistical Process Controls (SPCs) is a plus

• Working knowledge and experience with the use of precision measuring instruments i.e. micrometers, calipers, dial indicators
