Regional Sales Representative

We are seeking a Regional Sales Representative for the EASTERN REGION (covering Northeast to Indiana and south to Texas) for a role that significantly contributes to year over year sales growth and operational improvement through growing existing business, finding new business and representing Navico Group within their assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute sales plan to meet or exceed financial targets.

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

  • Achieve annual sales targets for accounts and work to ensure that total Navico Group sales objectives are met.

  • Work closely with assigned sales representative agencies in assigned territories to drive growth with these additional sales resources. Become trusted advisor for commercial opportunities they create.

  • Present new products, maintain pricing levels, manage customer requests, capture V.O.C., update and maintain C.R.M. where applicable.

  • Negotiate terms of sales in accordance with corporate guidelines.

  • Work with Marketing to develop effective annual sales and training materials.

  • Work and manage trade shows. Participate in set-up, tear-down, and booth "manning" during shows.

  • Assist in sales meeting preparation and participate in these meetings where applicable.

  • Develop technical targeted sales presentations for OEMs and distributors to promote education of Navico Group products, how they are applied, and encourage product placement.

  • Gain knowledge on how multiple Navico products can be applied in systems solution

  • Work with engineering project teams on custom solutions for OEMs and distributors

  • Assist Director of Sales on assigned projects as needed.

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Meaningful experience in sales or sales support such as inside sales, preferably in the industrial market or mobile/vehicle markets

  • Experience interfacing with current and/or potential customers on regular basis

  • Experience in selling electrical products preferred.

  • Analyze data/internal tools to help increase sales and profits

  • Experience managing/optimizing daily customer call planning.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint e-marketing skills required.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Understanding of basic financial statements (Income, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.)

  • Proficiency with problem analysis and resolution

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to collaborate with marketing, product management, operations and other teams as required.

  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
