FTE: 0.300000 Shift: 1 Schedule: 0800-1200 working three days per week Job Summary: Following established policies and procedures, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, prepares medications, and performs functions essential to the operations of the pharmacy department. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board Pharmacy Practice Sections. The employee will provide technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and the monitoring of drug therapy. Employee may procure, measure, compound, count and deliver medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Actively enrolled in high school as a junior or senior student. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
