Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance on Oxy plasma cutters, lasers, and other fabrication equipment across manufacturing facilities in the US. The role requires strong electrical and installation knowledge, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency in using tools while working with customers to troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Oxy plasma cutters, lasers, and other fabrication equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and wiring.

• Provide mechanical installation and repair services.

• Use tools to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

• Work directly with customers to identify and solve equipment problems.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of field service experience.

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Proficient in mechanical installation and repair.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

• Experience with electrical wiring and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Plasma, Laser, and Oxy cutting processes preferred.

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines preferred.

• Knowledge of proper handling and safety procedures for 480VAC.

• Ability to interpret mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.

• Familiarity with power and construction tools such as hammer drills, impact guns, and cordless drills.

• Strong oral communication skills.

• Strong customer service skills with a 'customer first' mindset.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Work Environment

1st shift hours: 6:30/7am-4:30/5pm. This position requires 95-100% travel, frequently on short notice.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
