Meta Technical Program Manager - Central Product Platform in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) experienced in managing large-scale platform building, evolution, and scaling across the company. This position will work with cross-functional teams in Meta’s Central Products Foundations (CPF) to build, evolve, and improve products and platforms and continue scaling our solutions to ensure we're improving user experience, efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills:

Technical Program Manager - Central Product Platform Responsibilities:

  1. Drive overall communication to leadership, stakeholder, and core working teams in regular cadence to bring awareness.

  2. Develop and manage the overall program, including defining scope, requirements, development model, schedules, and deliverables with engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders.

  3. Provide hands-on program management during analysis, benchmarking, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.

  4. Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation, and change management on programs.

  5. Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

  2. 10+ years of systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering, or technical product/program management experience.

  3. Experience delivering complex tech programs and/or products from inception to delivery.

  4. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.

  5. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.

  6. Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.

  7. Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience.

  8. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.

  9. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

  1. Web or Internet start-up environment and technical infrastructure management experience.

  2. Understanding of building platforms for wide range of users and use cases, and building the right inputs, outputs, and APIs for a holistic user experience.

Public Compensation:

$195,000/year to $267,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
