Summary:

Meta is seeking a Product Quality Engineer responsible for developing and implementing world class manufacturing and quality processes for the next generation of disruptive Compute and AI hardware products.This is a full-time position and reports to the Manager of Product and Quality Engineering as part of the Sourcing and Operations Engineering team.

Required Skills:

Product Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes for Meta open computer hardware technologies by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly and testing

2. Ensure product and process quality targets are met by designing test methods, establishing standards and driving continuous improvement projects with Meta manufacturing partners and key commodity suppliers

3. Drive root cause and corrective action for failures that occur during server integration, rack production and in the Data Center

4. Early engagement with Meta Engineering teams to implement robust requirements and ensure products meet cycle-time, cost, quality and yield targets

5. Create and maintain all production process and quality documentation

6. Conduct First Article and Source Inspections reviews on Meta hardware components and assemblies

7. Create BOMs, engineering change notifications, and manufacturing process changes through product lifecycle management tools

8. Some International travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications:

9. BS, Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science or related technical field or equivalent combination of education

10. 7+ years experience in manufacturing and test for Compute, Storage or Network Hardware products

11. Familiar with manufacturing test solutions for Server & Storage hardware products

12. Experience with new product introduction and manufacturing operations is required

13. Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools is required

14. Proven problem solving and communication skills

15. Good knowledge of Server & Storage Hardware technologies, experience on HW AI products will be desirable

16. Scripting skills in Bash, Perl, or Python is desirable

Public Compensation:

$170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
