Meta Operations Manager, Leaves and Accommodations in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

The People Risk, Privacy & Compliance team is responsible for developing and implementing employment compliance obligations across the globe. Our compliance programs are designed with scale, experience and systems-led strategies. Leaves and Accommodations is one such program focused on efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We take a data-driven approach to support Candidates and Employees in their journey through the company. We manage people knowledge and build project management capability across our company. Our work also ensures Meta remains protected and compliant. We strive to ensure employees feel heard and given the resources and support they need during the most important moments during their careers.The Operations Manager, Leaves and Accommodations will play a pivotal role in supporting employees requesting time off/leave of absences and/or reasonable accommodations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong initiative as well as the ability to think critically and prioritize while maintaining a high-level of confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

Operations Manager, Leaves and Accommodations Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a high-performing team consisting of a combination of Leaves Specialists, Accommodations Partners and Accommodations Specialists.

  2. Manage the Global Accommodations and NORAM leave case management, providing operational support for program enhancements for scalability and efficiency.

  3. Develop and drive process improvement activities, including process design, definition of systems capabilities, documentation and training.

  4. Leverage best practices in influencing and driving operational improvements.

  5. Act as liaison between business, legal and HR partners, and outsourced LOA vendors assessing needs in areas such as employee leave requests and potential workplace limitations.

  6. Produce and analyze reports and metrics, including ad hoc reports concerning leaves and accommodation trends.

  7. Handle private and sensitive data in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.

  8. Demonstrate excellent judgment and discretion in supporting complex and private employee matters.

  9. Maintain a commitment to our service level agreements (SLAs) around responsiveness and customer satisfaction.

  10. Define and track key metrics and performance indicators that align with program deliverables

  11. Manages and drives the success of the team’s projects or programs across regions or business groups

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of operations and/or case management experience, working directly with employees and cross-functional partners on end-to-end solutions.

  2. 6+ years experience leading a team of employees managing complex cases.

  3. 5+ years of demonstrable experience managing/designing end-to-end workflows/processes.

  4. Communication experience, including experience communicating concepts to different audiences across an organization.

  5. Analytical and problem solving skills and experience effectively using data to drive recommendations

  6. Knowledge or willingness to learn Federal and State leave and disability laws

  7. Experience building relationships and influencing others while working cross-functionally.

  8. Organizational experience with handling multiple open cases while adhering to case management standards and SLAs.

  1. BA/BS degree in Human Resources.

  2. Excel experience including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and charts/graphs.

  3. Experience with Salesforce and Workday.

Public Compensation:

$140,000/year to $206,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
