Summary:
Meta is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join the Business Education team. As part of this global training team, you will design content that educates small businesses, agencies, global partners, and advertisers on how to achieve their business goals using the Meta family of apps and services. The Business Education team is dedicated to delivering exceptional learning experiences for partners across multiple channels. Our mission is to make scaled education accessible to businesses of all sizes.The Business Education team creates Meta Blueprint learning content and has three pillars: Online (eLearning: online courses and video delivery), In-Person (Live and Virtual Learning: interactive in-person workshops), and Certification (proctored exams that test advanced-level competency in advertising). As an Instructional Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating educational content for various global audiences and maintaining it with regular updates. You will collaborate internally with teams across the organization to curate training content, explore new training methods, and develop ILT, VILT, and eLearning education solutions for small businesses, agencies, and global partners.If you have an interest in business education and the development of training programs, enjoy being hands-on in developing world-class learning materials and want to join our growing team as we embark on this journey, then this might be the right team for you.
Required Skills:
Instructional Designer Responsibilities:
Developing and executing a training design plan that meets the needs of learners
Designing and developing engaging, informative, and visually compelling in-person and online learning experiences
Becoming an expert in a range of Meta products and transforming technical content into engaging learning experiences
Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product marketing, program design, creative development, editorial, project management and legal
Continually work to ensure all training materials are consistent and up-to-date and in line with products and larger training goals and initiatives
Providing design guidance on multiple training projects, including copywriting, content hierarchy, typography, layout, and color

Evaluating how your content is being received and engaged with, and taking action based on feedback
Staying current with training and educational trends to help Meta remain innovative and effective in democratizing education
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Digital Marketing, Instructional Design or a related field
5+ years of experience in educational content development for in-person training and eLearning
Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, and other software used for creating training experiences
Proficiency in leveraging authoring tools (Articulate, Evolve, Captivate) to create engaging eLearning content
Proven track record of working effectively across different teams with various stakeholders and subject matter experts
Experience managing the full content development lifecycle from needs analysis to training evaluation
Experience working in a fast-paced content development team environment

Public Compensation:
$90,000/year to $138,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
