Our client, a leading private equity firm in Menlo Park, specializes in high-growth technology and related industries. As an SEC-registered investment adviser managing billions, they provide the capital and expertise to elevate companies to the global stage.

They are seeking a Director of Finance to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Director and CFO, you’ll ensure excellence in daily accounting and reporting operations. This HYBRID role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee capital calls and distributions for private equity funds.

• Manage accounting and operations systems.

• Collaborate with deal teams and external advisors on fund administration.

• Lead the financial close process for investment vehicles.

• Assist with credit line management, technical accounting, and investor inquiries.

• Support external fund audits, tax, and compliance tasks.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related; CPA is a plus.

• 10+ years of accounting experience, with expertise in private equity/venture capital.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Proven leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with database management and adaptability to new technologies.

• Familiarity with fund accounting software like QuickBooks, FloQast, or Allvue preferred.
