JOB SUMMARY: The Data Integration Specialist will have a strong background in data integration, with experience in collecting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data from various external sources into internal systems. The Data Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data. The primary focus of this position will be developing a long-term strategy for intake, processing, cleansing, and loading of acquisition data. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Data Integration: Manage and execute the integration of data from various external sources and acquisitions into internal source systems, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal disruption. Data Quality Assurance: Perform data quality checks to ensure that data being integrated is accurate, complete, and meets the company's standards before loading into internal systems. Data Mapping & Transformation: Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data mapping and transformation logic to meet those needs. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot data integration issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain the integrity and reliability of data systems. Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, and business units to ensure successful data integration that supports business objectives. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of data integration processes, data flows, and data mappings to support ongoing operations and future projects. Relationship building: Working with sellers to understand their source data and how it needs to be loaded, working with the sellers to fill-in the gaps Other duties may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. Education, Training, Certifications: High school Diploma, or equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, preferred. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements: 7+ years of experience in data integration, data quality, SQL development, data mining or related roles, strongly preferred. Three or more years of experience working with data from a variety of different platform sources, preferred. Proficient in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts, strongly preferred. Experience with data integration and ETL tools, preferably in an Azure environment, strongly preferred. Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and data quality practices. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus. Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, and subject-matter experts, including business partners who have little data knowledge. Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize, preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Communication Skills: Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers. Systems and Software Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Java. Other Qualifications: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. Must be able to comply with SFPH's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
