Assistant Project Managers, under the guidance of the Project or Group Manager, are responsible for providing general management for electrical construction projects and oversees staff. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred, and general knowledge of electrical components and applications is preferred. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electrical construction, project management, or a related field. Experience with electrical construction projects and understanding of electrical components and applications is preferred. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable. Travel: 15-20% Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for communication between FTI Engineering and Utilities team * Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with utilities on a national scale * Responsible to create, manage, and maintain utility portals * Responsible to assist with engaging utility and requesting pricing for any make ready costs * Supporting a database with expected lead times and historical deliverables from utility * Identifying and managing what bill/tariff rates * Staying in contact with project team and acting as the liaison between FTI operations and utility Coordination of schedule with FTI operations/construction team * Acting as a liaison between FTI and CPO to ensure timely execution of all required documents * Responsible for the utility application process * Assists in supporting the GAIT team with utility funded incentive and grant programs The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee\'s ability to perform the position described.
