The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to manage the activities and operations of the warehouse efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage warehouse inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse, including storage and shipments.
  • Operates forklift truck as needed.
  • Manually handle, repack, or restack pallets and inventory.
  • Communicate and track deliveries and shipments.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) to four (2) years of warehouse experience. Must be proficient with computers, office organization and record keeping is required. Elevator experience and mechanical skills in the construction industry are a plus; other mechanical experience will also be considered.

Personal Skills: Ability to interface with employees, clients, vendors, and management effectively. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize duties. Attention to detail is crucial. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Must be able to work independently and get along with others. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Demands: The employee must be able to lift to 100 lbs. as needed, ability to squat, bend, bend over, reach, climb ladders and scaffolding, work in confine spaces, work safely around heights and similar physical exertions repeatedly. Color perception to distinguish color coded wiring components.

Environmental Conditions: The employee will be exposed to dust, noise, vibrations, fumes, odors, temperatures and humidity, areas of poor lighting. Employee should be prepared to adapt to these conditions and work collaboratively in a face-paced environment.
