Job Description

A leading Fortune 250 retailer headquartered in Memphis, TN is searching for a Sr. GCP Network Engineer to join their IT Security team. This person will oversee the planning and deployment of their cloud network infrastructure. The role involves designing and supporting new and improved hybrid cloud networks.

Responsibilities may include:

 Work alongside app development teams to educate on cloud strategy

 Provide technical, engineering and operational expertise for network management software and systems

 Work an on-call schedule to offer third-tier support to resolve complex issues

 Help develop and mentor junior engineers

 Provide expertise for network management software and systems

Skills and Requirements

5+ years' of experience in GCP Networking

 Experience with an Enterprise-level on-prem to GCP migration

 Experience integrating in-house applications and SaaS into GCP

 Strong understanding of cloud networking, core infrastructure/network services, TerraForm, automation, and logging/monitoring

 Background in a lead position with ability to develop junior engineers

 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

 This company has a VERY strong culture, so this person must have great interpersonal skills SD-WAN experience and familiarity with Cisco Networking

 Google Network Certification null
