Baptist Memorial Specialist-Workforce Management Time Attend in Memphis, Tennessee

Summary

The Workforce Support Specialist will act as a liaison between the payroll department, HR, Operations, and IT to configure, audit and document the configuration for the Time and Attendance system. The position has responsibility for the day-to-day support, strategic planning and application configuration including pay rules, work rules, holidays, accruals, interface, testing and deployment within the Time and Attendance system.

Responsibilities

Coordinate system configuration changes, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

Regularly assess current state of services and proactively identify areas of opportunity for improvement.

Partner with HR & Payroll to facilitate the identification, analysis, and documentation of business needs and requirements; leads the creation of technical specifications, design documentation, and testing strategies for the business requirements.

Partner with stakeholders to play a significant role in helping to plan and manage projects related to new functionality, process improvement and system update release management.

Implement system support initiatives and optimization projects, supporting HR, Payroll, IT, and other related stakeholders.

Serve as the subject matter expert for the Time and Attendance system, scheduling, and reporting for all locations across the company, and manage critical activities including system upgrades, user acceptance testing and rollouts.

Serves as the contact person to report and follow-up with vendor on problems encountered while using the system.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Minimum Required:

Previous experience administering payroll system, HRIS experience, or Time and Attendance Systems, with the preferred experience as "time and attendance".

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent directly related experience.

Demonstrated functional business process knowledge; Knowledge of time & attendance policy, procedure and regulation; Demonstrated success in a role requiring strong attention to details, teamwork, and initiative; Demonstrated passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Demonstrated technical aptitude and capabilities; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English
