Inbound Operations Supervisor

Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is looking for experienced leaders to join our team as a Inbound Operations Supervisor. In this role, you will supervise and manage the hourly workforce and equipment of the operation in conjunction with the Control Tower’s guidance and direction. You will work closely with all departments to ensure on-time completion and maintain quality to meet customer requirements, as well as work with the staffing agencies to ensure proper start-up and time keeping is being managed accurately.

As an Operations Supervisor, will ensure proper training of new employees and that proper procedures are implemented and adhered to. You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Performance Management, Time Keeping, Productivity Management, Labor Planning, Lean Programs, Quality and Safety Programs, area KPI’s and SLA’s. You will also ensure that supplies and equipment levels in the department are sufficient for daily operation needs. Other responsibilities include monitoring various Warehouse Management Systems as it relates to material flow as well as investigation into corrective actions using SAP and business knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience SAP experience is required or equivalent WMS systems 3+ years of Supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications & Key Traits: Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong Microsoft Office Suite – notably Excel Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under high pressure Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Cross functional knowledge of Distribution Operations Experience with Op Ex tools (5s, Visual Management, Practical Problem Solving etc) Self-directed and goal oriented Biligual (Spanish) Preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment: Must be able to lift/push./pull up to 50 lbs. Able to stand/walk for long periods of time Ability to operate Forklift and walkie rider Light manufacturing facility Noise from working in a production area
