Job Title: GSE Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment. The successful candidate will perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company owned equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing engine mechanical issues across Diesel, Gas, and LP types, troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics, and utilizing diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems. Additionally, the role requires completing vehicle repair orders and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards and communicating safety concerns and customer requests for service to management.

Skills

  • 2+ years of GSE, automotive or diesel mechanic experience

  • Experience with diagnostic software for Powertrain Management Systems

  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues on Diesel, Gas and LP engines

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Trade school experience in automotive or diesel mechanics

Work Environment

Work is performed at the Memphis airport
