Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a full-time Electrical Installer in Memphis to join their amazing culture. In this role, you will install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety with minimal guidance as needed. You will work closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training.

* Install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation with minimal guidance as needed.

* Work closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training. May assist or train less experienced Electrical Installers. Refers more complex issues to more experienced colleagues.

* Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.

Skills and Requirements

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in electronic security industry

- Previous construction experience including some level of electrical or a low voltage background

- Relevant trade designation (e.g. Electrician)

- Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation

- Experience with Axis / Bosch / DMP / Lenel / Software House - Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI); industry-specific certifications and/or licenses. null
